Peace Poster Contest 2008-2009 ‘Peace Begins With Me’
What a delightful thought! Peace begins with me - but also with you. This is an opportunity to encourage the young people in your local community to think about the importance of world peace, tolerance and international understanding, and to pass it on. Encourage these young people to share their unique visions with the world, through pictures.
There are many responsible young people who are very aware of our world, what is good, and what is not so good. As a sponsoring Lions Club this is one way you really can ‘make a difference’.

Peace Poster Contest 2006-2007
'Celebrate Peace'
The final judging for last year's contest was held at the University College for the Creative Arts in Rochester. My thanks go to all of the judges - Council Chairman Chris, Yvonne, PDG Cliff Critchett (SE), Lion President Ann Creasey (Medway Lions Club) and Sue Dray who is a Senior Course Tutor at the University.
Congratulations to the winning artist, Bethan, sponsored by Middle Marches Lions Club (BS) for the winning poster interpreting the international theme through dance.
