| | PDG Lion Sylvia Fosberry is the Lion chosen by The Governors of 2005-2006 to be their Chairman. A member of Kirkham & Fylde Rural Lions Club for 16 years, she was District Governor 105BN in 2003-2004. She celebrated her Ruby Wedding to PDG Colin (known as Rocky) in 2003 and they have two children and several grandchildren. They travelled extensively with the Royal Air Force for 30 years. Although both are southerners by birth, work brought them to Lancashire, where they have happily remained. Lion Sylvia is enjoying leading her team both of the governors and the Lions of MD105. |

| | Lion Erach (Eric) Amaria has been a member of the Lions Club of Finchley since 1978. From 1981 to 1988 he was working overseas, but re-joined on his return. He chaired most Club Committees with Outstanding success, especially in two large fund-raising events. He has served on the District since 1996. A retired accountant, Lion Eric has been married to Arnawaz, his `other half' for 40 years ave one married daughter and three handsome grandchildren. |

| | Liverpool-Welsh having been born in 1944 to Welsh parents in Liverpool. Now semi-retired after over 40 years as a successful Production Executive. Following the death after 30 years of marriage of first wife, Carol, in 1996 married Thelma - a new beginning with another special lady that has seen me gain a daughter, son, and their partners, but above all, a grandson and granddaughter. Outside interests, apart from LCI, are sport and philately. Joined Douglas Valley Lions Club in 1977 and have been Treasurer, Secretary and President at Club level as well as Zone and Region Chair and VDG at District level. |

| | Lion George Morgan, a member of Castleford Lions Club, celebrated his golden wedding with Lioness Jeanne Whilst in Hong Kong. They have two daughters, Lion Michelle and Lioness Jeanette. A Lion since 1967 when he was a Charter Member of Pontefract Lions Club, George served as President there no fewer than eight times, and as Secretary and Treasurer. In 1990/91 he served again as President of Wakefield Lions Club, moving to Castleford in 1997 where he has also been President. Lion George has served on Cabinet for the past 12 years. | | Lion Guiseppe (Joe) Prati, a member of Ilkeston Lions Club for ten years - `I have enjoyed every minute' - has held a wide variety of posts at Club and District level, including District Convention Chairman Leadership Development and Zone Chairman. His family came from Brescia, north of Milan, and young Joe came to England at the age of 7. He has been married to Beverley for 30 years, with four children and four grandchildren. He is delighted that his Club has now twinned with Brescia Vittorla Alata Lions Club and a strong link has been forged. |

Grandsons. He is a Partner in a small business distributing car components to the motor trade.
Being semi-retired he enjoys more time with his family as well as playing golf and being involved

| | Lion John Mooney. a member of Antrim Lions Club is married to Shauna with three children. Shauna is a catering manager and supports John in all his Lionistic activities. 'Shauna is wonderful' he says. Professionally John is Group Operations Director of Mooney Hotels and a member of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, holding a wide variety of directorships in the tourism business. He has won international awards for his humanitarian work. He has held most Club positions - `except Treasurer' - and served on Cabinet since 1994. |

He has been married to Elizabeth for 42 years, with five children and 10 grandchildren. Lion Jim trained as a ship's carpenter on Clydeside. He has worked with handicapped children for several years,

Has been Chairman of the Big Antony House Summer Fair for 3 years.
President in 1997/98, he has held many club & District posts. In 2004/05 he combined the role of VDG with Leo/Peace Poster/Young Ambassador & O4Y officer. Has been married to Jenny for 45 years with a son & two granddaughters.
Now semi-retired from his own hairdressing business, he enjoys membership of two choirs, both of which he has been with for 20 years.
