Read the WHO, WHERE, HOW, WHY, WHEN and WHAT of Lions and ask yourself... Is it for ME? WHO? Your local Lions Club is part of Lions International, a world wide voluntary, 'community service' organisation with over 34,000 clubs in 155 countries, comprising more than 1,400,000 members, making it the largest organisation of its kind in the world. While each Lions Club gives priority to the needs of its local community the Association is truly international with no religious or political affiliations of any description. Multiple-District 105 is the collective name for 13 Lions districts that go to make up the Lions organisation in the British Isles and Ireland. |

WHERE? We serve in any way we can, and to the best of our ability, to what we see to be the needs of the community in which we live, in whatever form it appears necessary, and to whatever extent our resources of time and money permit. |

WHEN? We receive requests of all natures, and sometimes it takes a while to find the right answer or right person for the job. we can and do contact other organisations if they are better able to assist - all in an effort to provide speedy help. All this is done in our spare time, there are no full time organisers. As an International organisation Lions are able to provide urgent assistance in times of disaster through the Lions International Foundation, a trust fund established by regular contributions from Lions Clubs throughout the world.
