Lions Clubs International

Community clubs are run along the same principles as Lions Clubs. Each Club electing it's own officers as President, Secretary and Treasurer and hold meeting usually twice a month. A Lions club sponsors the Leo club and a Lion attends meetings as a Leo advisor. Events are planned, organised and run by the Leos requiring all members to help and gain new experiences from each of these challenges. The type of events carried out can vary tremendously depending on the clubs members and where they're based. The Clubs also hold social activities inviting other Leo clubs to attend and interact, the events can and often do also incorporate fundraising or welfare activities.
