leroyLions Clubs across the British Isles and Ireland support young people by recognising their efforts and providing them with opportunities to learn, achieve and grow.

The Lions Young Ambassador scheme acknowledges today's young people working as volunteers and gives them the recognition they deserve.

The Lions Youth Exchange Programme aims to "create and foster a spirit of understanding among peoples across the world" by enabling exchanges between countries in every part of the world.

The Lions International Peace Poster Contest encourages young people, ages 11 to 13, to artistically express their views of peace - the overall worldwide winner is introduced at the Lions United Nations Day at the United Nations Headquarters in New York each year.

In the British Isles and Ireland the Lions 5 Nations Youth Football Tournament allows teams (under 14 years old) to compete against each other in the only EUFA sanctioned competition for this age group.

LEOs are young people aged between 11 and 28 years. LEO stands for Leadership, Experience and Opportunities for young people from all backgrounds, races and religions. There are over 5,000 LEO Clubs representing 137 countries with a membership of 142,000 young people.
