The MD Leadership Committee is responsible for co-ordinating other specialist training which includes:

• District Governor and 1st and 2nd Vice District Governor training is conducted by the MD Leadership Committee and the Council Advisory Committee to ensure that by the time these people attend the DGE Seminars, they have all the information necessary to be effective and efficient District Governors.
• MD web site training to encourage MD Officers to create and update their own page on the web site.
• Specialist training for District Vulnerable Persons Officers to help them get a full understanding of the CRB and ISA requirements and how it affects the Lions organisation in this country.
• Currently a pilot programme is being run in District 105D called "Spectator Safety" in conjunction with the MD Health and safety Officer to equip members with the necessary skills to ensure that we are truly professional in the way that we care for people who attend our events both small and large.
